Julianne Davis, 24, is the daughter of co-owner Molly Barns, and has lived in Dallas her whole life. Julianne graduated from Highland Park High School in 2012. After graduating high school, Julianne took a huge leap of faith into the world of adulthood and traveled an impressive two miles away from home to attend SMU. As a responsible cat lover, Julianne was a very active volunteer with the Feral Cat Program at SMU, and she was also a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She began her early college career as a Voice Performance major in the Meadows School of the Arts. After a year of daily 8 a.m. classes, Julianne learned that she prefers to sleep in, and also that a career in opera was not for her. To be honest, she believes that in a perfect world, nothing would ever start earlier than 12 p.m. In 2015, she proudly graduated in three years with a B.A. in Psychology.
Julianne has many hobbies, including her 23-pound Maine Coon cat, Louis "Lou", and her husband's cat, Gary Catterson. Julianne is a big fan of Mexican food, high heels, and happy hour. Her drink of choice is Bacardi, and she can sing "Defying Gravity" like it's her job. In January 2018, Julianne married the love of her life, Josh Davis, in New Orleans.
Julianne is soooo excited to work with her mom... Every. Single. Day. She really wants Unmistakably Molly to have a store cat, and doesn't understand why her mother won't allow it. Still, she will never give up in trying to convince Molly that a store cat will always be a good idea. A girl can dream, right?? 🐱🐯🦁
